What Sensunova is — and isn't

Sensunova is an advertising directory. We list independent massage therapists and salons, publish verified customer evaluations, and pass appointment requests along. The massage itself is a contract between you and the therapist: we don't employ therapists, set their prices, or supervise their work. What we do stand behind is the directory itself — every therapist is evaluated by one of our own staff before their first rating appears.

Using the directory

Use the site to find a therapist, compare evaluations and request appointments. Don't scrape the directory, harvest therapists' details for marketing, post content that is unlawful or abusive, or misrepresent who you are. Therapists listed here offer professional massage services — treat them, and their time, with respect. No-shows and abusive behaviour can get a member barred from the directory.

Evaluations and ratings

Ratings come only from SMS-verified members who paid for their massage, and they update in batches of three to protect reviewer anonymity. Evaluations must be honest and based on a real visit. We remove evaluations that are fake, coerced, or written by competitors — and listings that try to game them.

Gift vouchers

Vouchers are valid for one year from purchase and redeemable at participating therapists (80+ nationwide). A voucher pays for the massage described on it; anything extra is between you and the therapist. Vouchers aren't redeemable for cash, and lost voucher codes can be re-issued to the original purchaser's email.

For listed therapists

The listing agreement is the one on the list your practice page: one month's notice to cancel, a link back to the directory if you have your own website, and massages on a proper massage bed or table. You're responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for holding whatever qualifications and permissions your work requires. We may suspend listings that break these terms or attract repeated verified complaints.

Liability

We work hard to keep the directory accurate and the ratings honest, but we can't guarantee any particular massage, therapist or outcome. To the extent South African law allows, Sensunova isn't liable for what happens during an appointment arranged through the directory — though if something goes wrong, tell us: repeated verified complaints get listings removed.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by South African law. If we change them, the new version appears here with a new date, and the change applies from that date forward. Personal information is handled as described in our privacy statement.
